A Mother-Daughter Dream, Growing One Stem at a Time

We’ve always loved flowers. From picking wildflowers on summer walks to planting backyard gardens that grew just a little bigger each year, our shared passion for nature and beauty brought us to this place—our flower farm.

What started as a dream between mother and daughter has blossomed into a local haven of color, creativity, and connection. After Kirsten retired from wedding photography and Mary Jane graduated from the University of Kentucky we realized it was time to make our flower farm dreams come true. After a lot of long days, literal blood sweat and tears and our fair share of mistakes we’ve grown something far more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. We learned to laugh, keep going and trust the process. The Butler Farmstead is now a patchwork of all of those moments!

Working side by side in the fields is more than a job—it’s peaceful, grounding, and full of beauty. We pour that feeling into every bouquet we make. We grow seasonal flowers that reflect the charm of our farm—whimsical, a little wild, and always grown with intention.

Whether we’re harvesting for a farmers’ market, arranging flowers for a wedding, or greeting someone new at the farm stand, we hope our flowers bring you the same joy they bring us.

And we’re just getting started—dreams of bouquet-making workshops and U-cut days are blooming on the horizon. We can’t wait to share this space, these flowers, and this journey with you.
